Dare you enter Landguard Fort after dark?


Enter the Zombie Fortress.

Following an unidentified infection outbreak in Felixstowe, the 'URE' (Undead Research Establishment) has been set up at Landguard Fort.

Our dedicated scientists, doctors and military personnel are caring for your infected family and friends.

The 'URE' are holding a special Open Evening on Saturday 29 October (1900-2300) - so you can explore our facility.

- Your visit will include a walk through the facilities tunnels and rooms.

- We hope that there will be no risk to yourself when visiting our facility.

- For a small additional charge - refreshments and hot food available.


Entrance to the facility walk through is by 'timed ticket'. You can book a 30 minute arrival slot between 1900 and 2300.

Adults and Young People (aged 13-18 years) £8.00. Family Ticket (two adults and two young people) £30.00.

- All young people must be accompanied by an adult.
- Sorry… no admittance to anyone under 13 years of age.

You must pre-book in advance for this event - NO tickets available on the door.


Tickets on sale on Thursday 1 September 2016.

Please book your 30 minute arrival slot to the facility walk through:


- You will not be allowed entry into the walk through queuing area until your allotted time.
- If you arrive after your 30 minute arrival slot has ended we cannot guarantee entry in the walk through queuing area.
- Please note you can only visit the facility walk through once.

Disclaimer - please read this information carefully

- Attendance is at your own risk.

- The event is not suitable for those persons that are pregnant, with heart conditions or of a nervous disposition.

- Fancy dress and masks are NOT allowed.

- Although we have done everything to ensure your safety whilst attending this event, historic properties (the Fort being Grade I listed) can be hazardous so please take care. Some special effects may be used including smoke machines, loud noises and strobe lighting. Areas of the Fort involve walking on uneven surfaces (with some trip hazards), being in restricted and dark spaces.

- Please dress appropriately for the weather, warm clothing and sensible footwear should be worn.

- Those who come under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted to the Fort. We also reserve the right to remove persons displaying an aggressive or abusive nature. No smoking is permitted anywhere on site at any time.

- Mobile phones should be switched off in the Fort tunnels and torches are not allowed. If you shine a light then this is a sign for the scarers not to scare.

- There are no refunds for persons wishing to cancel or leave the event early.
