East Town Park
East Town Park in Coupals Road, Haverhill is a country park to the east of Haverhill on the very edge of town. The 38 acre park is the centre for a network of footpaths that extend around Haverhill and along the old railway track, eventually linking up with the Stour Valley Walk that runs for 60 miles from Cambridgeshire through West Suffolk to Essex following the river valley and passing through the Dedham Vale an area of outstanding natural beauty.

- April to October weekends only - 11.30 to 16.30
- School summer holidays: Mon - Fri 12.00 to 4.00pm

Conservation Volunteer times:
Monday and Wednesday 9.30am to 12.30pm
Join the Park Rangers in managing the many important conservation areas in Haverhill and learn new skills. For people of all ages, but under 16's will need to be accompanied by an adult and under 18's require parental permission. Please wear outdoor clothing and stout footwear. Training in the various tasks and copious tea & biscuits are provided. We meet at the East Town Park visitor centre. No need to book, but ring the Ranger Service on 01440 710745 for more information prior to your first visit.
