General Information

The Ipswich Community Playbus is a not-for-profit charity run by a board of voluntary trustees for families with children under 5 years old in Ipswich, Suffolk. The Playbus was relaunched in October 2003 and currently runs eight free play sessions. We have two full-time members of staff, who are fully qualified in various early years qualifications, are CRB checked, first aid trained and have had SAFEchild protected training.

Our Playbus is fully equipped to be a stimulating learning environment for young children. Each term, the activities are themed looking at colours, numbers, seasons, celebrations and many more. Visitors are welcome to view the Playbus policies at any time. Downstairs: we have a messy play area including sand, painting, baby area, puzzles and toilet facilities. Upstairs: there is a built-in slide, cars, trains, themed home corner, soft play and much more.

All of our sessions are term time only ( please check website for Stops & Times)

We do not charge but donations are gratefully received.
