Bring the magic back to Christmas shopping!

Written by SarahSteel on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 - 20:24

Let's face it, Christmas shopping can be a chore. Gazillions of presents to choose and wrap, never knowing what to get for Auntie Mabel and Uncle Phil... sometimes it can (almost) take the fun out of Christmas. Well luckliy, as curators of all things family-orientated across Suffolk, we've discovered that actually there are lots of great ways to put some of the magic of Christmas back into that dreaded gift shopping experience, and dare we say maybe even make it fun again?!

Christmas Spectacular, 4 - 8pm

Lowestoft Town Centre, Lowestoft, NR32 1
Will Father Christmas be there: Yes, although possibly just to see rather than visit

Starting with a Christmas parade at 4pm, there will also be a special Santa Train looping the town centre for the duration of the event (pay as you ride). Kids can come in festive fancy dress, and there will also be a fun fair, face painting, bouncy castle, giant snow globe, and reindeer. But never mind that, what about the shopping? Well, two Christmas Fayres will deliver with food, drink and gifts a-plenty. The shops will also be open until 8pm, and there's free parking from 4pm in all surrounding car parks (excluding Railway Station Car Park).
