Fireworks in Ipswich 2017

It is almost that time of the year again, Guy Fawkes Night, when the whole country celebrates the failure of a group of conspirators to light up the parliament in the year 1605 in their attempt to kill King James I and his leaders.  In Ipswich,  the fun doesn’t stop at fireworks, expect plenty of entertainment for the whole family!

If you are not too keen on crowds, this is the perfect occassion to get together with friends to  enjoy an evening of fun and marshmallows by the bonfire.

Christchurch park’s soundtrack- accompanied fireworks will be back this year better than ever, and it promises to be a memorable event!

Expect stage entertainment from East Anglia’s premier soul and funk band ‘Soul Riot’, award winning modern choir ‘Funky Voices’  female vocalist ‘Chelsea Francis’; a bonfire, rides, stalls and lots more!

Gates open at 6:00pm with fireworks at 8:00pm and family fun through to 10:00pm.
