An interactive hi-tech play area will come alive in an Ipswich park this half-term. The i.play unit at Holywells Park will be activated on Wednesday 27th May.

i.play represents a breakthrough in play opportunities for youngsters, combining interactive electronics with conventional play area equipment. It encourages “stealth fitness”, where people exercise without realising it. From 11am to 3pm, staff will be showing how i.play works for children aged eight and above, teenagers, adults and wheelchair users. Teachers can also use the facilitiy's website as a classroom tool to encourage children to identify their exercise levels and spark discussion and learning on the impact of exercise and diet on health and fitness. The nearest car park to Holywells Park is Athena Hall on Wykes Bishop Street off Duke Stree
