Have a spooktacular time at Suffolk Museums this Half Term! You can choose from craft activities such as “Spooky Spiders & Halloween Masks” at Christchurch Mansion or “Make Your Own Mummy” and “Mini Mammoths: Big and Small” at Ipswich Museum. Make sure you book a slot in plenty of time!

A Sci-Fi fan? The original 1978 Superman outfit worn by Christopher Reeve, and Arnolds Scharzenegger’s outfit from Terminator 2: Judgement Day from 1991 will be on display at the Sci-Fi exhibition at Moyses Hall.

And if your kids enjoy science take them to join Science-trickster Steve, and his “Science Tricks and Treats” interactive show at the Ipswich Museum.

Long Shop Museum’s biggest event of the year “The Final Fling” is also taking place this half term. The kids will love to ride a tractor and look at the full size and miniature engines being displayed on the day. There is also an opportunity to take a trip to China at “The Wonder of China” taking place at the Ipswich Museum.

There are a couple of trails at Suffolk museums this year; explore the spooky woodlands at The East Anglian Transport Museum, or have a go at Landguard’s spooky trail.
