Open Farm Sunday 2015

What a fantastic opportunity for our little ones to learn about where their food comes from. There will be plenty of activities such as tractor rides, walks in the countryside, pond dipping and much more.  Why not make a day of it and take a picnic to enjoy with family and friends, down on the farm? With many participating farms in Suffolk this is an event not to be missed!  Take a look at LEAF’s Virtual Farm Walk! in preparation to your trip:) and don't forget your camera to enter the Open Farm Sunday 2015 Photography Competition. Take a look at participating farms in Suffolk:

Somerleyton Hall, (Lowestoft) June 7, 11-4pm. A fun packed day for both children and grown-ups on the farm. Bring all the family to a fun packed day involving all ages on the farm.

Hollow Trees Farm Shop,(Ipswich) June 7th, 9.30-3.30pm. Tractor and trailer rides around the farm. Entrance fee applies 

Easton Farm Park,(Woodbridge) June 7th, 10.30-5.30pm.  Lots of country fun tied in with the National Open Farm Sunday.  Get up close and personal with the animals and those that look after them. Free entry, but we do charge for certain activities

Lindsey Lodge Farm,(Lindsey, near Hadleigh) June 7th, 11-5pm. Walks around the farm, Mini tractor and trailer rides.

Kentwell Hall, (Long Melford), June 6th-7th, 11-5pm. Woolly jumpers off - it's shearing time! This weekend at Kentwell we're celebrating all things woolly...Shearing in the stableyard, talented craftsmen and women working with wool at the barns, plus Knit & Natter is back in the tearoom!Entrance fee applies

Seven Hills Produce, (Nacton), June 7th, 11-4pm. Meet the chicks, feed the lambs, bring your wellies!

DENNINGTON HALL, ( Woodbridge) June 7th, 1-5pm. Meet the team that run the far Latest farm machinery on display. Satellite steering, Huge combine, Big Tractors Cows and Calves Trailer rides round the farm to see wildlife, woodland, growing crops and to hear how we manage it

Moseleys Farm, (Bury St. Edmunds) June 7th, 11-3pm. Tractor trailer rides. Farm walk, Wellie boot throwing, Hog roast and ice creams 

Park Farm, (Saxmundham), June 7th, 11-4pm. We have plenty of activites and areas for you to enjoy including; Tractors & Machinery, Animals & Crops, Lake & Wildlife Areas.FREE ENTRY Food will be available to buy.
