Toddler activities at Ipswich Museum

Written by MiriamSpall on Monday, September 25, 2017 - 19:00

Not many parents would consider taking their toddlers to a museum for fear of them being; too young to appreciate ancient objects, too hyper to stay still or too noisy for a traditionally quiet place!

This has changed over the years, with museums recognizing the need to provide a wider range of activities to appeal to families and children of all ages.

On the first Tuesday of each month,  The Ipswich Museum holds activity sessions aimed at children between 2-4 years old, which can include; messy play, trails, stories and much more. Its  family friendly animal displays provide the perfect setting for your little ones to explore, learn age appropriate vocabulary and have a little play with Wool-I-Am, their house resident mammoth.

Sessions cost just £2.00 plus booking fees. So if you are looking for things to do with your toddler, you might want to add the below dates to your diary, but make sure you book well in advance, as these are a very popular events!
