Ready to entertain the kids this Half Term?! Here are our Top Attraction's Events taking place in Suffolk for Halloween 2016. For more events and ideas, come and see our calendar of events!

This year Bewilderwood and West Stow Anglo Saxon Village are holding two “luminous” events at dusk that are not to be missed!

The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade is an annual event held in the enchanted forests of Bewilderwood. With a Halloween theme and a trail of glowing pumpkins, the kids will love this magical halloween experience. Listen to Bewilderbats' storytelling, and create, decorate and enjoy your very own lantern. At dusk, kids will be greeted by Snagglefang, the bat who will read them a poem. Other fun characters will follow:  Slitherigrubs, Witches, Spiders and Swampy! Organizers recommend not to arrive earlier than midday as it can be a long day for the kiddies.

The Enchanted Heath at Night. Come to West Stow this year for a full day of activities from 10 - 5:00pm and admission is FREE!, including crafts, music, face painting, archery and storytelling! Listen to the story about life with Wulfigas in the village, and stories of Beowulf and the Dragon. At dusk (4.30pm & 5.30pm), take a tour by Rojo Art Workshop into the wilderness, watch as the Enchanted Heath lights up with a trail of glowing pumpkins, and meet the sleeping Heathland Dragon! Please note, for the evening event you need to book in advance. The price is £2.00 and is suitable for 5+

Halloweenies - Scaresvilles Little Monster. Kentwell’s school of Magic and Sorcery is back and better than ever! Enroll your kids this half term! Lessons will include wand making, spells & potion class. But that is not all they will have the chance to test their skills in the magical woodlands where they will also be greeted by fun characters along the way. During your visit, explore the trails of the Enchanted Forest and look out for some spooky surprises! Be sure to wear appropriate clothing as this is mostly an outdoor event. Booking in advance is strongly recommended! Activities take place in the morning from 10-12:30pm and in the afternoon from 1:30- 4:00pm. Gates Open at 9:45am and 1:15pm.  Consider dressing up! It will add to the fun.
